2011 Summer Interns
2010 Summer Interns

For the summer of 2010, the Center sponsored twenty-four Human Rights Fellowships. Student internship projects included: helping refugee children seeking asylum in Kiev, Ukraine; teaching debate skills to girls in Kenya as they educate themselves; developing economic opportunities for Palestinians in the West Bank; educating the poorest children in communities in Cambodia and India; countering violence against women and sexual trafficking in Ecuador and Bolivia; and conducting research on the Holocaust at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington. 2009 Summer Interns

The summer of 2009, The Center sponsored seven Human Rights Fellowships. Student projects included: working with single mothers and children in Guatemala, assisting international refugees assimilate into the United States, promoting public health in Ecuador, and working alongside lawyers and investigators to protect the rights of individuals facing the death penalty.
