Study Abroad: Costs for Families
Students studying abroad do not pay CMC fees but they do pay the programs costs of a particular destination. Additional expenses may include housing, meals, health insurance, and round-trip transportation. Students continue to be billed by CMC in the same way as if they were on campus. Students on financial aid continue to receive loans, state, and federal aid, as well as private and merit scholarships. A student receiving CMC grants-in-aid will receive up to 100% of CMC grants for one semester or academic year.
- Students pay Program Fee for Destination
- No CMC application fee
- No CMC administrative fees
- CMC pays all program fee invoices and bills families through the Student Account
- Families pay commit deposits and any housing deposits
- Students arrange and purchase airfare. We highly recommend that study abroad participants obtain a student airfare with a low-cost date change option for the return flight.
- Families pay CMC and may remain on monthly payment plan
