Monitor your 2013-14 financial aid status by using NetPartner
The financial aid office may request that additional forms be sent directly to the college.
These forms are available at http://www.claremontmckenna.edu/finanaid/students/forms.php
STEP 1: Submit the following electronically:
CSS PROFILE
- Available at https://profileonline.collegeboard.com
- Claremont McKenna College school code: 4054
- Once submitted, you will receive an email from the College Board with further instructions about the IDOC process.
- Make sure to use your correct Social Security Number on the CSS PROFILE application or it will not be processed in a timely matter
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Available beginning January 1, 2013, at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov
- It is strongly recommended that you process your Federal 2012 tax return before submitting your FAFSA since you may be required to utilize the FAFSA-IRS Data Retrieval Tool.

- Make sure to use your correct Social Security Number on the FAFSA application or it will not be processed in a timely matter
STEP 2: Submit the following as part of your IDOC packet:
- Please visit https://idoc.collegeboard.com to start the process of sending your IDOC packet
- Your Cover Sheet. Make sure it includes your CSS ID number
- Signed Copy of Parent(s) 2012 Federal Tax Return or Parent(s) Non-Filer Statement
- For tax return filers, include all schedules and W-2 forms
- For non-filers, include all W-2 forms and the 2013-2014 Parent(s) Non-Filer Statement
- Once the 2012 tax return has been completed, it should be mailed to the College Board IDOC service
- Signed Copy of Student 2012 Federal Tax Return or Student Non-Filer Statement
- For tax return filers, include all schedules and W-2 forms
- For non-filers, include all W-2 forms and the 2013-2014 Student Non-Filer Statement
- Once the 2012 tax return has been completed, it should be mailed to the College Board IDOC service
- Signed by parent and student - 2013-2014 Verification Worksheet
- Signed Business Tax Return (if applicable)
- Corporate/Partnership Federal Income Tax Return, and K-1 Schedule(s) for any corporation(s) / partnership(s) in which you or your parent(s) have investments.
STEP 3: Once steps 1 & 2 are completed:
Monitor your 2013-14 financial aid status by using NetPartner
- Link to Net Partner at: https://www.claremontmckenna.edu/NetPartnerStudent/.
- It is the student's responsibility to share access to NetPartner with their parents in order to allow them access to your NetPartner account-the Financial Aid Office cannot provide access.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ:
- All financial aid applicants for 2013-14 must complete their files by the published deadlines dates. If you do not complete the necessary applications and provide all requested documents in a timely manner, we cannot guarantee the availability of college funds.
- Returning students completing their financial aid files after May 1, 2013 may be subject to penalty assessments.
- Students who did not apply for or did not receive need-based financial aid previously at CMC are not guaranteed they will receive financial aid or be considered for financial aid in the coming academic year. Each year financial aid consideration will be determined based on the availability of funds.
