Asaf Bernstein '08
Asaf is a senior at Harvey Mudd College double majoring in Mathematics at Harvey Mudd and Economics at CMC, who is planning to complete the Financial Economics Sequence. Asaf was born in Beersheva, Israel, and lived in England, Indiana, and Massachusetts before attending Harvey Mudd. This summer he interned at Countrywide Capital Markets and the previous summer was spent working at the Financial Economics Institute as a student research analyst. He is co-president of the Harvey Mudd Student Investment Fund, co-founder of Wall Street Weekend, and currently project manager of a year long project for Citadel Investment Group, as part of his senior experience. Though not certain at this point, Asaf is most interested in working in quantitative fixed-income sell-side or buy-side finance upon graduation.

Nick Burnett '09
Nick is a junior at Claremont McKenna College majoring in Economics-Accounting. He is also considering the Robert A. Day 4 + 1 BA/MBA program. Originally from Beaverton, Oregon, Nick is an editor of the Claremont Accounting Association newsletter (The Balance Sheet), as well as an intramural official. After graduation, he plans to pursue a career in public accounting.

Tejas Gala '09
Tejas is a junior pursuing a dual major in Economics and Mathematics and he is planning to complete the Financial Economics Sequence. Born and raised in Arcadia, California, Tejas is a center for the Stag Basketball team and is the Student Director of Intramural Sports at CMC. He hopes to pursue a career in asset management or consulting after graduating.

Kevin Hesla '09
Kevin, originally from Littleton, CO, is a junior at CMC. He is majoring in Economics and plans to complete the Financial Economics Sequence. In addition to working as a Research Analyst at the Financial Economics Institute, he works with Uncommon Good's mentoring program. After graduation, Kevin plans to work in consulting or banking for a few years before transitioning into real estate or development.

Daniel Jäger '08
Daniel grew up in Hamburg, Germany. As currently a senior at CMC, he is majoring in Economics-Accounting with the Financial Economics Sequence. This summer Daniel interned at Citigroup Investment Banking in Palo Alto, where he gained valuable experience applying financial concepts he learned at CMC. Upon graduation, Daniel will join The Boston Consulting Group in Los Angeles. Daniel is a co-founder and the president of the Claremont Consulting Network.

Maria Alexandra Löhner '10
Maria is a sophomore at Claremont McKenna and is majoring in Economics with a Finance Sequence. Although she is originally from Washington DC, her family is German, fostering her interest in International Business. In addition to working at the FEI, Maria tutors Economics students and is the co-founder of the Aspiring Economists' Society. Previously, she interned at Merrill Lynch and the House of Representatives. After graduation, she intends to go to graduate school or become a consultant. This summer, Maria worked for the FEI.

Tinsley Lowe '08
Tinsley is a senior majoring in Economics with the Finance Sequence. She is originally from Elk Grove, California, where she participated in competitive equestrian riding. Tinsley is a member of the Claremont Accounting Association and enjoys attending the CMS athletic events. After graduation, she plans to work in the Investment Banking or Consulting industry and attend graduate school to continue her education in economics and statistics. Tinsley was an intern with the FEI this past summer and is continuing her research this academic year.

Alexander Reichert '11
Alexander is a freshman at Claremont McKenna College and intends on majoring in Economics with the Finance Sequence. Originally from Swampscott, Massachusetts, Alexander attended The Pingree School, a private day school on the North Shore of Boston. There he worked as a head tour guide and college liaison for the admissions department while serving as a student representative on several boards. Alexander is a member of the Claremont Men's Lacrosse Team and currently is involved with the admissions office at Claremont McKenna. After graduation, Alexander aspires to pursue a career in private equity, preferably in southern California.

Brittney Watson '09
Brittney, a junior at Claremont McKenna College, is majoring in Economics-Accounting and plans to complete the Financial Economics Sequence. She is from Sammamish, WA and plays center mid for the Athena's soccer team. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in auditing or investment banking and earn her MBA.

Felicia Wu '08
Felicia is a senior at CMC who will graduate in the spring with a major in Economics and the Financial Economics Sequence. She is originally from San Marino, CA, where she was active in speech and debate. Felicia continues to coach and judge high school and middle school debate in her spare time. In addition to her work at the FEI, she works with Experimental Methods at Caltech and CMC (EMC2) to assist professors performing computerized social science experiments.

Yang (Amanda) Yang '10
Amanda is a sophomore at CMC dual majoring in Economics and Mathematics and plans to complete the Financial Economics Sequence. While she is originally from Beijing, China, she enjoys life here in Southern California a lot. In addition to working at FEI, Amanda is also a member of Student Investment Fund, Inve$t, Student Alumni Relations Committee and the International Club. She hopes to pursue a career in asset management, consulting or investment banking.
