Background: Liza was born in Glendora, California. She graduated from Glendora High School and attended college at Mt. SAC and Chaffey College. Her father was in the military and traveled all over the United States and West Germany.

Family: She has a son named Michale Lee Ponce who is 2 1/2 years old.
