Civil Rights Grievances (including Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual Harassment)
CMC maintains several policies related to Civil Rights which are found in the Guide to CMC’s Civil Rights Policies and Civil Rights Grievance Procedures. Individuals who believe they have experienced discrimination, unlawful harassment, and/or sexual misconduct should review the Guide by clicking on the link above. You are also encouraged to speak to the College’s Title IX Coordinator and Dean of Students whose office is in the Heggblade Center.
In circumstances in which the complaint refers to a member of the CMC faculty, please see Procedures for Student and Faculty Grievances Against Faculty Members and for Faculty Grievances Against Academic Administrators (PDF).
If you believe you have been subject to discrimination, harassment, and/or sexual misconduct by a student, faculty member, or staff member from one of The Claremont Colleges other than CMC, please see one of the CMC Deans of Students in the Heggblade Center.
