The McKenna Achievement Award is a renewable scholarship valued at full-tuition for the given semester. To renew the scholarship, he or she must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA during each semester.

What are the selection criteria of the Seaver?
Although there are no minimum criteria to be selected as an Seaver Scholar, students who are chosen for this scholarship are among the top academic achievers at their high school. No extra essays are needed to be considered for this scholarship. Simply fill in the bubble stating your interest in merit-based scholarships on the Common App and submit by December 1.

Are Transfer Students eligible for the Seaver?
Unfortunately, Transfer Students are not eligible for any merit-based scholarships. Only entering freshmen are selected to receive any merit-based award.
